The Kids Guide to Pranks, Tricks, and Practical Jokes
This coffee-table book (in hardcover) is one that appears to be aimed at younger pranksters, with tricks in it like saran wrap over the toilet and so forth, but actually has quite a few classic pranks in it as well that would be great for a school environment.
Naturally, all are fully detailed and explained. I guess it would have to be, with this book plainly aimed at kids. Still, worth a read so you can catch up on the classics!

Park Bench Practical Joke
Get prepared to giggle!
This classic practical joke sets up innocent people in a park with a double-whammy. A guy pretends his pants get caught between the slats of a park bench, and rip when he gets up… And then the same ripping sound occurs when the victim gets up too!
The Practical Joker’s Handbook
Any guy who can get not just one but six books-selling well over a million copies, by the way-out of a topic like duct tape has to know how to make people laugh. Tim Nyberg, creator of the Duct Tape books, truly is such a funny person. . . . He brings his bizarre sense of humor to everything he does.Fun is certainly the operative word for Nyberg’s latest book, The Practical Joker’s Handbook, the only practical joke collection in print.
Using his Web site, the author spent six years collecting practical joke and prank ideas from around the world. This definitive handbook features the best and the funniest of these, all designed to remind readers to have fun, not to take life too seriously, and to catch people off-guard to make them laugh. (Potentially harmful jokes and pranks were purposefully omitted.)
The results are a hilarious collection of stories, tips, and tactics for bringing humor to the forefront. Nyberg first explains the “art of the joke” then goes on to outline where and how to pull off the best practical gags on friends and loved ones. From how to jury-rig a toilet tank to ways to temporarily hog-tie a coworker’s computer mouse to using a kazoo to place an order in the fast-foot drive-through, Nyberg delivers the goods. This one will have readers in stitches!

About the Author:
Tim Nyberg has been a self-employed graphic designer and illustrator since 1978. But after the release of his first publishing effort, The Duct Tape Book, in 1995, he’s been better known as one of the “Duct Tape Guys.” Today, this best-selling humor author regularly appears on radio and television shows with his full-time brother-in-law and sometimes coauthor Jim Berg. Tim’s ongoing goal as a writer is to entertain through nonoffensive, creative, and offbeat humor, which he’s accomplished many times over.
